Fear

No one is better at something than someone else; they simply have less fears.

Changing Behaviors

Rationalizing a behavior means to explain it.

Rationalizing does not help control the behavior; it merely creates an excuse to indulge in the behavior or leads to a guilty association that makes the behavior perversely attractive.

Supressing a behavior means to put a lid on it.

Supressing does not help control behavior; it merely causes the behavior to boil inside a person until it boils over the lid and creates even more damage around it.

Denying a behavior means to pretend it doesn´t exist or ever happen.

Denying does not help control behavior; it simply closes the door to the possibility of change.

Taking possession of a behavior means to analyze it in broad daylight and cope with it.

Taking possessions helps control behavior; it lets you see it objectively so that your fears fall aside and you can see what needs to be changed and, if the motivation is right, change it.
